The time has come to discuss Tom Hanks. To celebrate his legacy as perhaps our finest living leading man — and also because he survived COVID-19 — we are excited to dissect our first film in (at minimum) a 10-episode series on America’s Dad: Turner & Hooch.
He’s shirtless a lot, he becomes friends with a big dog, he bickers with Reginald VelJohnson. What’s not to like? It’s one of the odder and more inappropriate movies to be streaming on Disney+, and it provides a fascinating glimpse into the man we would come to know and love.
