We’re almost done our slow ride through Quentin Tarantino’s filmography; next up is Django Unchained, the 2012 revisionist Western that tackles slavery by having Jamie Foxx kill a whole bunch of slavers.

Foxx isn’t the only brilliant actor in this cast; Christoph Waltz won his second Academy Award collaborating with Tarantino, Kerry Washington is brilliant as Django’s wife Broomhilda, and Leonardo DiCaprio’s heel turn as Calvin Candie is as shocking now as it was eight years ago.
